Personal Data We Collect
Our website does not collect personal data directly from you through registration or subscription forms. However, through the third-party services you have consented to, the following categories of data may be collected:
- Google Analytics — anonymised IP address, browser type and version, operating system, pages visited, session duration, traffic source, and other anonymous usage data.
- Google Maps — IP address transmitted to Google servers when the interactive map on our contact page is loaded.
We do not collect sensitive data (health status, ethnic origin, religious beliefs, etc.) and do not request financial data through this website.
Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data solely on the basis of the explicit consent you provide through the cookie banner displayed on your first visit to the site (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Analytics — understanding visitor behaviour to improve the content and structure of our website.
- Google Maps — displaying an interactive map with our office location on the contact page.
If you decline consent, no third-party services will be activated and you will be able to browse the website without any restrictions.
Third Parties and International Data Transfers
Data collected via cookies is transferred to Google LLC, based in the USA. Google LLC processes this data as a data processor on our behalf, in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy.
Data transfers to the USA are carried out under Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, ensuring an adequate level of data protection.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with other third parties for commercial purposes.
Data Retention
Rotmar Strategies does not store personal data on its own servers. Data collected by Google Analytics is retained for 14 months in accordance with the platform's default settings, after which it is automatically deleted.
Your consent is stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage) on your device and is not transmitted anywhere. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser data.
Your Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Moldovan personal data protection law (Law No. 133 of 2011), you have the following rights:
- Right of access — you may request confirmation that we process data about you and a copy of that data.
- Right to rectification — you may request the correction of inaccurate data or the completion of incomplete data.
- Right to erasure — you may request the deletion of your data under the conditions provided by law.
- Right to withdraw consent — you may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Right to data portability — you may request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to lodge a complaint — you may lodge a complaint with the National Centre for Personal Data Protection of Moldova (www.datepersonale.md).

- _ga — unique visitor identifier, valid for 2 years.
- _ga_* — stores session state, valid for 13 months.
